Our Classroom is a Place Where...
We don't all have to be the same.
We don't all have to think the same.
We don't all have to act the same.
We don't all have to talk the same.
We don't all have to dress the same.
We don't all have to believe the same things.
We have the right to be ourselves.
We like it that people are different.
We know that our differences make us interesting and UNIQUE.
We honor different ways of being, acting, and believing - even when we don't agree with them.
We do our best to solve problems peacefully.
We speak up if we see others being treated unfairly.
We treat each other the way we'd like to be treated.
We treat each other with respect.

As with all of our programs at the Bedminster School, parent involvement and support is greatly encouraged. As a team, we will work hard to prevent and stop bullying from happening in our classroom and school, while also improving peer relationships and providing positive environments for our children to grow and learn.

Class Meetings
Through the week we will have class meetings. These meetings are facilitated by Mrs. Carlin and allow students to learn important social/emotional/character skills through discussions and games. If necessary we may also hold class meetings other times during the week. Our students are respectful, kind, considerate, honest, earnest, happy, generous, and resilient!
Class Meeting Testimonials:
"Before our class meeting I feel really exhausted because I overslept......After our class meeting I feel energized and ready for the day because I was talking about class and feel ready."
"I feel tired today because I went to sleep at 10:30 and woke up at 8:15......Now I fell great because the class meeting really cheered me up :)"
The way I am feeling today is very very wonderful because we're having the Fourth Grade play and gym and I had a great night and I fixed my own lunch...... After our class meeting I feel great. Why? because I feel relifed by so much in my life and letting go all of my anger and being greatul for all I have my sister and Dad and mom."
